Abbeville " Funeral Services will be held for Mr. Arthur Bubby Esaw Mouton, 50, at 11:00AM on Saturday, August 7, 2010 at David Funeral Home in Abbeville with Pastor Darrell C. Thibeaux, Sr. officiating. Visitation will be on Saturday from 9:00AM until service time. Burial will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery. A native and resident of Abbeville, Arthur passed away at 10:49AM on Sunday, August 1, 2010 at a local hospital. He was very creative and gifted in mechanics, carpentry and fixing things. He was the family comedian. He loved hunting, fishing and exploring the great outdoors from the early days of his youth. He loved nature and was a steadfast admirer of the great outdoors. He is survived by his loving mother, Perilla Ellen Hardy Mouton of Abbeville; six sisters, Juanita Allison (Uzziah Zee ) of Pensacola, FL, Dianne M. Landry (Richard Deacon , Sr.), Marilyn J. Briggs (Brandon, Sr.), Yolanda Z. Briggs (Barry), Tina J. Mouton, and Loretta Mouton and her fianc Kent Vincent, all of Abbeville; eight nephews; nine nieces; numerous great-nieces and great-nephews; sister-in-law, Winfred Mouton of Abbeville; his aunts, Jeanette Coleman of Beaumont, TX, Teresa Cooper of Texas City, TX, Maebelle Valcin (Charles) of Port Arthur, TX, Ether Mae Fenton of Port Arthur, TX, Mary Ann Mouton of Abbeville, and Clara Mouton of Abbeville; his uncle, James Mouton (Carolyn) of Ft. Worth, TX; and his lifelong best friend, Rickey Menard and family. He was preceded in death by his father, Roy Wendell Mouton, Sr.; his brother, Roy Wendell Mouton, Jr.; maternal grandparents, Arthur and Ellen Hardy; and his paternal grandparents, Esaw and Esther Mouton. Pallbearers will be Brandon Briggs, Jr., Kibbie Pillette, Jr., Skyler Briggs, Albert Jackson, Jr., Richard Landry, Jr., Roland Sinegal and Michael Hardy. Honorary pallbearers will be Richard Landry, Sr., Brandon Briggs, Sr., Uzziah Allison, Barry Briggs, Eric Ballard, Kent Vincent, Rickey Menard, Aaron Ballard, Justin Ballard, Arris Wiltz, Tyrek Landry and Kaigen Pillette.
