Gertie Denison Duhe' Funeral services have been scheduled for Mrs. Lambert Duhe', the former Gertie Denison, who died early Tuesday morning at the Rosewood Retirement Home in Lafayette. She was 93. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Thursday at the David Funeral Home on Trotter Street, with a rosary being prayed at 11 a.m. The Rev. John Upton will officiate at an 11:30 a.m. ceremony in the David Funeral Home Chapel, with interment immediately following at Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Duhe' was a lifelong resident of New Iberia and was a member of Les Amies, a Federated Women's Club, the New Iberia Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution and a board member of the Iberia Chapter of the American Cancer Society. Survivors include her two sons, Charles L. Duhe Jr. and his wife Marilyn, and John P. Duhe II and his wife Martha, as well as four grandchildren, two step-grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters, Elaine Denison Upton of Houston, Texas and Armine Denison Bonin of New Iberia, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Duhe' was preceded in death by her husband, Lambert Duhe', her parents, Blanche Migues Denison and Roland Elmore Denison, sisters Lillia Denison Judice, Ruth Denison Eldridge, Lenora Denison Broussard, and brother, Roland Joseph Denison. Pallbearers will be Donald M. Bonin, Patrick Bonin, Allen Duhe', J. Paulin Duhe' III, James Eldridge and Taylor Lagman. David Funeral Home 1101 Trotter St. New Iberia, La.
