Elaine Robichaux Riggs

Loreauville - A Memorial Mass for Elaine Robicheaux Riggs will be held Saturday, August 7, 2010 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Loreauville at 11:00 AM.

A native and lifelong resident of New Iberia, Ms. Elaine passed away Sunday, June 27, 2010 at 10:30 am in a local healthcare facility. As requested by Ms. Riggs her body was donated to Tulane Medical College.

Ms. Elaine was a graduate of Mount Carmel and a member of St. Peters Catholic Church.

She is survived by her nieces, Janine Christian Edwards, Sister Catherine (Peggy Riggs), Shirley Vincent Huval, Janell Vincent LeBlanc, Beverly Judice Thibodeaux, Mary Dean Judice Greig, Brenda Robicheaux Oubre, Rose Robicheaux Waguespack, Pauline Robicheaux Duplantis, Kathy Robicheaux Whatley, Joan Robicheaux Romero, Lisa Robicheaux Lormand, Liz Robicheaux Lormand, Ellen Robicheaux Landry, Laura Robicheaux LeBlanc and Jill Robicheaux Stokes and her nephews, Hal Christian, Irving Judice, Darrell Judice, Gerald Judice, Ray Judice, Carlyle Robicheaux, Roland Robicheaux, Jr., Chris Robicheaux, Lonnie Robicheaux, Kirk Robicheaux, Steven Robicheaux, Randy Robicheaux and Kevin Robicheaux.

Ms. Elaine is preceded in death by her parents, Louis Robert Robichaux and Pauline Deslatte Robichaux; her brothers, Claude Robichaux, Roland Robichaux, and Kearny Robichaux; sisters, Nina Christine, Amy Riggs, Linda Vincent, and Gerdie Judice.
