Delcambre " A Mass of Christian Burial for Mr. Will Joseph Jones, 56, will be held at 1:00PM on Saturday, June 19, 2010 at St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church of Delcambre, with Fr. Herb Bennerfeld officiating. Visitation will be held at St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church of Delcambre on Saturday, June 19, 2010 from 9:00AM until the time of service. Interment will follow at Our Lady of the Lake Mausoleum. A native of Abbeville and a resident of Delcambre, Mr. Jones passed away at 11:20PM on Sunday, June 13, 2010 at a local hospital. Mr. Jones was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and brother who loved spending time with his family. Mr. Jones was an employee of Carlin Fleet for twenty years, Michael Richard with Earth Works at Live Oak Garden for five years, and was currently employed by Loadmaster Derick and Equipment of Broussard for the last five years. Will loved to listen to music, play basketball and work in the yard. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Elizabeth Comeaux Jones of Delcambre; two daughters, Jessica Comeaux of Delcambre and Jillian Bessard and her husband Greg of Maurice; a son, Jeramie Jones of Houston, Texas; brother, Ollie Jones of Oakland, California and Adam Montgomery of Youngsville; sister Elnora Williams of Youngsville; grandchildren, Gabrielle Bessard, Gy`kel Bessard, Ashton Levene, and Asya Comeaux; and great grandchild, Delvante` Levene. He was preceded in death by his parents, Will Montgomery and Octavia Zeno Jones; step father Ollie Jones; and step mother Antoinette Wiltz Montgomery; two brothers, Leroy Jones and Gary Jones; sister Eva Jones; aunt Ada Zeno (who lovingly raised him after his parents death from the age of two); and his sister-in-law Mrs. Leroy Mabel Jones . Serving as pallbearers will be Corie Williams, Greg Bessard, Curtis Joseph, Anthony Broussard, Curley Reaux, Jr., and Roy St. Julian. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Jeramie Jones, Timothy Decuir, Harris Comeaux, Albert Roy, Donald Mouton, Royal Chambers, Jason Roy, Leonard Broussard, Earnest Comeaux, Freddie Martin, Adam Montgomery, Christopher Broussard, Lloyd Martin and John Comeaux.
