Erath " Funeral Services for Mrs. Glenn J. Romero, Sr., the former Sandra Bonin, 49, will be held at 2:00PM on Friday, May 28, 2010 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with Father Herb Bennerfeld officiating. Visitation will be at David Funeral Home of Erath on Thursday, May 27, 2010 from 4:00PM until 10:00PM, with the recitation of the rosary at 7:00PM. Visitation will resume on Friday, May 28, 2010 from 8:00AM until the time of service. Private interment will be at a later date. Mrs. Romero a native of Lafayette and a resident of Erath died at 8:50PM on Monday, May 24, 2010 at her residence. Sandra was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, stepsister, and mother-in-law who enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her two grandsons. Sandra was a vital part of her husbands roofing company. She is survived by her husband, Glenn J. Romero, Sr.; two sons, Jonathan Romero and his wife Kyli of Cecilia, Corey Jr. Romero and his wife Candice Zena Dice of Abbeville; grandchildren, Ashton Glenn Romero of Erath and Corey Jr. Romero, Jr; mother, Donna Dieu LeBlanc of New Iberia; brothers Rickey LeBlanc, Vince LeBlanc, Randy Bonin, Barron LeBlanc Rickey Bonin, and Delmus Bonin; sisters Sandy Bonin, Rena Bonin and Daniella Bonin; daughter "in-law, Dayna Romero of Erath; and step sister Vinus LeBlanc of New Iberia. She was preceded in death by her father, Anthony Bonin; foster parents, Daniel and Annie Leblanc; and her son, Glenn J. Romero, Jr.; brother Adonia Bonin and sister Alma Bonin. Serving as pallbearers will be Jonathan Romero, Corey Romero, Sr, T. J. LaCoste, Kerry LaCoste, Michael Seymour, and Blake LeBlanc. David Funeral Home of Erath, at 209 E.
