Coteau - Funeral Services for Dalton J. Landry, 78, will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, March 20, 2010 at David Funeral Home Chapel of Lafayette with Fr. Crochet officiating. Visitation will be at David Funeral Home of Lafayette on Friday, March 19, 2010 from 10:00AM until 9:00PM with a recitation of the rosary at 6:00PM. Visitation will resume on Saturday, March 20, 2010 from 8:00AM until the time of the services. Interment will follow at Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery. A native of New Iberia and a resident of Coteau, Mr. Landry died at 3:45PM on Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at Iberia Medical Center. He was a salesmen at Furniture Center, Browns Furniture, Robicheaux Furniture, and J.C. Penney. He also was an avid bowler, having won several trophies, and enjoyed fishing. He is survived by his wife, Judy Landry of Coteau; daughter, Peggy LeBlanc of Coteau; sister, Velma Romero of Coteau; two step-sons, Terry Penner and Scott Frank both of Youngsville; two step-daughters, Cindy Frank of Lafayette and Tammy Nunez of Erath; five grandchildren and seven step-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Aliface and Onelia Dore Landry; son, Rusty Landry; and two brothers, Joseph Landry and Homer Landry. Serving as pallbearers will be Trenton Penner, Ricky LeBlanc, Brent Nunez, Derrick Landry, David Landry and Barry Landry.
