Jeanerette " Funeral Services will be conducted for Mr. Taylor J. Lancon, Age 93, at 1:30PM Thursday March 25, 2010 at David Funeral Home in Jeanerette with Father Jody Simoneaux officiating. Interment will follow at St. Johns Mausoleum. Visitation will be Thursday from 10:00AM until service time. In Lieu of Flowers donations may be made to J.D.R.F. (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) 2425 Fountainview Suite 280, Houston, Texas 77057. A native and lifelong resident of St. Mary Parish Mr. Lancon died Monday March 22, 2010 at 5:00AM in a Jeanerette health care facility. He was a sugarcane farmer who enjoyed gardening and hunting and he was an avid San Francisco Giants fan. Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Judice Lancon of Jeanerette; one daughter, Judy L. Pugh and husband Joe of Houston, Texas; granddaughters, Rachel P. Rosen and husband Kyle of Dallas, Texas and Ashley P. McDonough and husband Robbie of Houston, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lucien and Adea Barrilleaux Lancon; one brother, Junius J. Lancon and two sisters, Odillia L. Robicheaux and Lavinia L. Trahan. Pallbearers will be Doug Robicheaux Sr., Eddie Lancon, Ricky Lancon, Leroy VanBrocklin, Kyle Rosen and Robbie McDonough. David Funeral Home, 400 Provost Street, Jeanerette, La.
