New Iberia " Funeral Services will be conducted for Mrs. Don Troutt the former Audrey Stark, Age 88, at 11:00AM Tuesday June 1, 2010 at David Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday May 31, 2010 from 4:00PM until 7:00PM and again Tuesday from 8:00AM until service time. A native of Corpus Christi, Texas and a resident of New Iberia for 77 years, Mrs. Troutt died Saturday May 29, 2010 at her daughters residence in Baton Rouge. She was a kind, empathic person who counseled many. Her upbeat personality and sense of humor endeared her and her many friends. She was a volunteer and a docent at The Shadows on the Teche for many years. She was also a fabulous cook. Survivors include a daughter, Judy DeRouen Koonce and husband Kenneth; a son, Marc DeRouen and his wife Patricia all of Baton Rouge; four grandsons, Steven Koonce of Alpharetta, Ga., David Koonce and wife Elizabeth of Athens, OH, William Koonce and wife Denee of Pearland, Tx. and Sean DeRouen of Baton Rouge and four great grancshildren, Caroline, Aaron and Wesley Koonce of Pearland, Tx. and Bozeman Koonce of Athens, OH. In addition she leaves a niece, Jo Lyons Abraham of Lake Charles and a nephew, Lyman Lyons and wife Kathy of McFarland, WI. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Nancy DeRouen; her parents, Ray and Beulah Stark, her husband, Don Troutt; two sisters-in-law, Nell DeRouen Lyons and Marjorie DeRouen Guichet and a nephew, James Lyons. Pallbearers will be Steven, David and William Koonce, Sean DeRouen, Malcolm Landry and Patrick Tucker.
