Margaret Hebert Verret

June 14, 1917 — October 4, 2010

Jeanerette- Funeral services will be conducted for Mrs. Albert P. Verret, age 93, the former Margaret Hebert, at 10:00 AM Wednesday October 6, 2010 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church with Fr. Jody Simoneaux officiating. Interment will follow in St. Johns Mausoleum. Visitation will begin Tuesday, October 5, 2010 from 4:00 PM until 10:00 PM with a Rosary being prayed at 7:00 PM. Visitation will resume Wednesday, October 6, 2010 from 8:00 AM until service time.

A native of Adeline and a resident of Jeanerette, Mrs. Verret died Monday, October 4, 2010 at 1:30 AM in a Local Health Care Facility. She enjoyed cooking, baking and gardening.

Survivors include her sister, Jeanette H. Greer of Huntsville, Alabama; 5 Grandchildren; 9 Great Grandchildren; 1 Great Great Grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Albert P. Verret; son: Carl Verret, Sr., parents: Clairville Hebert and Rose Naquin Hebert, brothers: Junius Hebert, Elmer Hebert, Emory Hebert, Sr.and Donald Hebert, sisters: Genevieve H. Chauvin, Carrie H. Perez, and Beatrice Hebert.

Pallbearers will be Carl Verret, Jr., Britt Verret, Sr., Shawn Sinitiere, Millard Guillot, Jr., Millard Guillot, III, and Amos Landry, Jr.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Britt Verret, Jr., Eric Verret, Todd Trahan, and Tyler Wilson.
