Abbeville " A Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Clarence Faulk, the former Marie LeMaire, 81, will be held at 2:00PM on Monday, July 12, 2010 at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church with Fr. Guillory officiating. Visitation will be at David Funeral Home of Abbeville on Sunday, July 11, 2010 from 2:00PM until 9:00PM with a recitation of the rosary at 7:00PM. Visitation will resume on Monday, June 12, 2010 from 8:00AM until the time of the service. Interment will follow at St. Paul Cemetery. A native of Perry and a resident of Meaux Mrs. Faulk died at 3:20PM on Thursday, July 8, 2010 at her resident. She was known for enjoyment of gardening. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Clarence Faulk of Meaux; a son, Glenn Faulk and his wife Pam of Morgan City; a daughter, Sue Watkins and her husband Sam of Kaplan; four grandchildren, Rachel , Jamie Faulk, Scott Watkins, and Steven Watkins; and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Adonis and Albertine Facio LeMaire; three brothers, Joseph LeMaire, Henry LeMaire, and Billy LeMaire; and a sister Pauline LeMaire. Serving as pallbearers will be Jamie Faulk, Scott Watkins, Steven Watkins, Dale Melancon, Ted Melancon, and Lonnie Morrison. David Funeral Home of Abbeville at 2600 Charity St. (337)893-3777 will be handling the arrangements.
