Abbeville " Funeral Services for Policar P. Landry, 87, will be held at 1:00PM on Friday, April 2, 2010 at David Funeral Home Chapel of Abbeville with Mark Broussard officiating. Visitation will be at David Funeral Home of Abbeville on Thursday, April 1, 2010 from 5:00PM until 9:00PM. Visitation will resume on Friday, April 2, 2010 from 8:00AM until the time of the services. Interment will follow at St. Paul Cemetery. A native of Abbeville and a resident of Crowley, Mr. Landry died at 1:10AM on Thursday, April 1, 2010 at his residence. He was a WWII veteran having served proudly in the US Army. He was known for his enjoyment of gardening. He is survived by his daughter, Dolores L. Boudreaux of Crowley; his companion, Ethel Deshotel of Abbeville; a sister, Mary Musick of Iowa; a brother, Ovet Landry of Abbeville; five grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Daisy Luquette Landry; two sisters, Rena and Nona; and a brother, Joseph Landry. Serving as pallbearers will be family and friends.
