New Iberia ~ Graveside funeral services will be conducted for Mrs. Ernest J. Martin, the former Nora Lee Bourgeois Martin, 82, on Tuesday April 6, 2010 at 12:00 Noon at Memorial Park Mausoleum with Fr Ed Degeyter officiating. There will be no visitation prior to the graveside service. Mrs. Martin was a native of New Iberia and a resident of Breaux Bridge at the time of her death. She died Thursday April 1, 2010 at 7:00 PM in a Breaux Bridge Nursing Home. Mrs. Martin was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening. Mrs. Martin is survived by a son Ernest Martin, Jr. and his wife Marsha of New Iberia, 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren, and her brother Frank Bourgeois, Jr. of New Iberia. Mrs. Martin was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest J. Martin, Sr., her parents, Frank Bourgeois, Sr. and Nora Bergeron Bourgeois, and a daughter Elizabeth B. LeBlanc.
