Abbeville " A Mass of Christian Burial for Mr. Anthony Keith LeBlanc, 52, will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, July 17, 2010 at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church with Fr. Kendall Faulk officiating. Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Abbeville on Friday, July 16, 2010 from 1:00PM until 9:00PM with a recitation of the rosary by Fr. Donald Theriot at 7:00PM. Visitation will resume on Saturday, July 17, 2010 from 8:00AM until the time of service. Interment will follow at St. Mary Mausoleum. A native and resident of Abbeville, Keith passed away at 8:42PM on Tuesday, July 13, 2010 at M. D. Anderson Hospital. Keith was a loving brother, uncle and godfather and friend who dearly love spending time with his family and friends. Born at the Palm Hospital in Abbeville in 1958, Keith graduated from Vermilion Catholic and attended USL. He started his radio career at KROF while still in high school, working his way up to Program Director, before being hired away to Citadel Broadcasting in Lafayette. During Keiths 35 years in broadcasting, he earned the respect of his colleagues through his dedication, compassion, and his genuine love for radio. He is survived by his brother Roger LeBlanc and his wife Barbara of Kaplan; five nieces, Monique B. Nelms of Abbeville, Kimberly B. David of Abbeville, Chrystal B. Bangtson of Abbeville, Marcelle LeBlanc of Fr. Worth, Texas, and Sara LeBlanc of Lafayette; nephew Blake LeBlanc of Kaplan; long time friends Jackie Choate of Kaplan and John Falcon of Abbeville; and two godchildren, Clay Bourque of Abbeville and Kip Faulk of Mire. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dudley and Mavis Marceaux LeBlanc; brother Webster LeBlanc; and sister Gayle L. Bourque. Serving as pallbearers will be family and friends.
