Ronald Andrew Bennett

New Iberia- Funeral services will be conducted for Ronald Ronnie A. Bennett, age 69, Tuesday, July 20, 2010 at David Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00PM with Rev. Paul Neel officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, July 19, 2010 from 10:00AM until 10:00PM and will resume Tuesday, July 20, 2010 from 8:00AM until the time of service.

A native and resident of New Iberia, Mr. Bennett passed away Friday, July 16, 2010 at 12:45PM in a local hospital. Ronnie enjoyed fast cars, fishing, watching football and loved to spending time with his grandchildren.

Mr. Bennett is survived by his wife, Catina Maturin Bennett of New Iberia; his children, Shane Bennett, Sr. and wife Therese of St. Martinville; Tim Bennett and wife Lisa of New Iberia; Faith Senff of Nebraska; and Ronald Smith and wife Paula of Kentucky; his grandchildren, Demi Bennett, Shane Bennett, Jr., Landon Bennett, Blake Bennett, Katelyn Bennett, Alyssa Bennett, all of St. Martinville; Ciera Bennett of New Iberia; and Jake and Angela Senff of Nebraska; his brothers, Luke Bennett of New Iberia; Joseph Bennett, Jr. of New Iberia; his sisters, Elizabeth Appie Davis of New Iberia; and Trudy LeBouef of Prairieville.

Mr. Bennett was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Bennet, Sr. and Elverta Lancon Bennett, his brother, Henry Bennett and his sister Catherine Murray.

Serving as pallbearers will be Shane Bennett, Brandon Harlow, Albert Maturin, Ron Smith, Bob Murray, and Tim Bennett.

Honorary pallbearers will be Luke Bennett, Joe Bennett and David Lanier.
