Youngsville - A Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Calvin H. Smith, Jr., the former Belle Primeaux, 71, will be held at 10:00AM on Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at St. Anne Catholic Church with Reverend Edward Duhon officiating. Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Lafayette on Tuesday, July 27, 2010 from 1:00PM until 10:00PM with a recitation of the Rosary by Mrs. Joan Broussard at 7:00PM and will resume on Wednesday, July 28, 2010 from 8:00AM until service time. Interment will follow at St. Anne Mausoleum. A native of Coteau and resident of Youngsville, Mrs. Belle passed away at 10:30AM on Monday, July 26, 2010 at her residence. She enjoyed spending time with her family and adored her grandchildren. Mrs. Belle loved to dance. She worked as a nurse for many years and was a caregiver for her dear friend for the past two years. She is survived by her children, Monica S. Broussard and husband Macy of Youngsville, Katina S. Broyles and husband John of Youngsville, Cynthia Waguespack of New Iberia, Melinda W. Robicheaux and husband Daniel of New Iberia, and John Johnny Waguespack; her grandchildren, Bryce Broussard, Chelsea Broyles, Joely Toucheque, Miles Robicheaux and Courtney Robicheaux; great-granddaughter, Jadyn Louviere; and her sister, Yvonne Stansberry. She was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin H. Smith, Jr.; her parents, Alton and Rose Moreaux Primeaux; sons, Bobby Waguespack and Preston Waguespack; her brother, Hilton Primeaux; father-in-law, Calvin H. Smith, Sr.; and mother-in-law, Imagene Bradshaw Smith. Serving as pallbearers will be Macy Broussard, John Broyles, Daniel Robicheaux, Al Primeaux, Eric Primeaux and Miles Robicheaux. Honorary pallbearers will be Bryce Broussard, Don Primeaux, William Louviere and Minos Girard. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Mrs. Belles name to Hospice of Acadiana, 2600 Johnston St., Suite 200, Lafayette, LA 70503.
