Bertha Landry

December 4, 1915 — February 23, 2010

Erath " Grave Side Services for Mrs. Bertha Omen Landry, 94, will be held at 2:00PM on Friday, February 26, 2010 at Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery with Deacon Michael Clark officiating. A native of Cow Island and a resident of Abbeville, Mrs. Landry passed away on Tuesday, February 23, 2010 at a local Abbeville health care facility. She retired from the Vermilion Parish School Board after fifteen years of serving as a cook for the Erath High School Cafeteria. She is survived by a son, Vernest J. Landry and his wife Jaunita of Erath, eight grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, and five great Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Nedia Landry, and her parents, Hebert and Edna Harrington Omen. David Funeral Home of Erath, 209 E. Putnam St., (337)937-0405 is handling the arrangements.
