Keith Oehl

Lafayette " Memorial Services will be held for Keith J. Oehl, 51, at Sacred Heart Church of Broussard on Friday, January 29, 1010 at 12:00PM with Father Richard officiating. Interment will follow at Sacred Heart Mausoleum. A native of Long Island, NY and resident of Broussard, Keith passed away on Wednesday, January 27, 2010 at 8:33AM at University Medical Center in Lafayette. He was an appraiser with Complete Claims for 20 years and was also the father of eight children, as well as one grandchild. He is survived by his wife, Diane Freshour Oehl of Long Island, NY; his mother Dolores Doyle Oehl of Havelock, NC; five sons, Bryan Oehl of Long Island, NY, Matthew Oehl of Lafayette, Michael Oehl of Long Island, NY, Christopher Oehl of Long Island, NY, and Gregory Oehl of Broussard; three daughters, Denise Zis and her husband Paul of Lafayette, Carolyn Oehl of Broussard, and Catherine Oehl of Broussard; one grandson, Luke Zis of Lafayette; four brothers, Williams F. Oehl, Jr. of Germantown, TN, Richard E. Oehl of Long Island, NY, Dennis Oehl of Long Island, NY, and John Oehl of Tampa, FL; and his sister Nancy Oehl of Havelock, NC. He is preceded in death by his father, William F. Oehl, Sr. and his brother, Glenn Clarke Oehl. David Funeral Home of Lafayette, 837-9887, will be handling arrangements.
