Abbeville- Funeral services for Casey B. Broussard, 45, will be held at David Funeral Home of Abbeville on Tuesday, March 01, 2011 at 1:00PM with Rev. Brad Sons, Associate Pastor of Family Life Church of Lafayette officiating. Interment will follow services in Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will begin Monday, February 28, 2011 at 4:00PM until 9:00PM and will resume on Tuesday, March 01, 2011 at 8:00AM at the funeral home and continue until service time. A native of Abbeville and a resident of Duson, Mr. Broussard passed away Saturday February, 26, 2011 at Meadowbrook Specialty Hospital at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center 7th floor in Lafayette. He is survived by his brothers, Cordell Broussard and his fianc Shani LaBiche of Abbeville, Carlos Broussard and his wife Connie of Youngsville; sister, Lynette Simon and her husband Michael of Abbeville; nephews, Brock Broussard of Abbeville, Cliff Broussard of Lafayette, Shawn Simon and his wife Stacy of Abbeville, Ryan Simon and his wife Bambi of Abbeville; step-nephews and nieces, Callie Brasseaux, Paula Travaglini, and Ronnie Lecza; great nieces, Katelyn Simon, and Jennifer Simon; great step-nephews and nieces, Amber Bruno, Emily Bruno, Billy Theriot, and Shane Theriot. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jay Rex Broussard and Lois Landry Broussard; Paternal grandparents, Louis Eddie Broussard and Edna White Broussard and his maternal grandparents, Dennis Landry and Rose Comeaux Landry. Pallbearers will be Cordell Broussard, Brock Broussard, Cliff Broussard, Shawn Simon, Ryan Simon and Boyd Landry. The family would like to extend special thanks to the entire staff at University Medical Centers Intensive Care Unit and Meadowbrook Specialty Hospital, 7th floor in Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette and to Dr. Love and Dr. Federico Del Toro for their genuine, loving and tender care and attention during Caseys most recent illness.
