Lafayette " Funeral Services for Mr. Mitchell Bryan Jackson, 39, will be held at 10:00AM on Monday, March 14, 2011 at David Funeral Home Chapel in Lafayette with Pastor Marshall Clotiaux officiating. Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Lafayette on Saturday, March 12, 2011 from 6:00PM until 10:00PM, Sunday, March 13, 2011 from 10:00AM until 10:00PM and Monday, March 14, 2011 from 8:00AM until service time. Interment will be held at Boxwood Church of Christ Cemetery in Merryville, Louisiana. A native of New Iberia and resident of Lafayette, Mitch passed away at 10:29AM on Thursday, March 10, 2011 in Lafayette Parish. He is survived by his wife, Tallie Dugas Jackson of Lafayette; his son, Nicholas Carson Jackson of Youngsville; his daughter, Regan Elizabeth Jackson of Lafayette; his father, Jeff D. Jackson and step-mother, Carol Ann Fournerat of Youngsville; his mother, Angela Elizabeth Gladden Roth of St. Petersburg, FL; his brothers, Joseph D. Jackson and wife Danielle of Youngsville, Kaine D. Jackson and wife Rebecca of Scott and Andrew Roth of St. Petersburg, FL; his sister, Lisa Gail Jackson of Trinity, TX; his uncle, James S. Gladden and wife Michelle of Little Rock, AR; his godmother, Linden Marie Bourque of Gulfport, MS; his in-laws, William and Jolene Fontenot of Youngsville; his grandmother-in-law, Mabel Adams Vercher of Youngsville; his loving pets, Annebelle and Scooter Jackson; and numerous other family and friends. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Jeff D. Jackson II and Patrick Regan Jackson; his uncle, John Gatlin Gladden; maternal grandmother, Lorraine Gladden; paternal grandmother, Opal Howard Trawick; maternal grandfather, Carl Pat Jackson; and his grandfather-in-law, James Ollie Vercher, Sr. Serving as pallbearers will be Nicholas Jackson, Michael Bourque, Joey Jackson, Lorne Gladden, Kaine Jackson, Andrew Roth, Kevin Curtis Jones and Jeff Davis. Honorary pallbearers will be Joshua Jackson, Elus Trahan, Eddie LaBauve and Drew Fontenot. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made for Regan Jackson at Chase Bank.
