A Mass of Christian Burial for Hilda Girard Theriot, 80, will be held at 10:00AM Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Erath, LA with Rev. Michael Landry Pastor of St. Anne Catholic Church in Cow Island as Celebrant. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 26, 2013 from 11:00AM and will continue until just prior to service time. A Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held Tuesday November 26 at 7:00PM. Interment will follow the church services at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Cemetery in Erath, LA. Mrs. Theriot passed away on Saturday November 23, 2013 at her residence in Erath. Mrs. Theriot was born in Delcambre, LA and a longtime resident of Erath, LA. She was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother. She is survived by her two daughters Judy Broussard of Pecan Island, and Sandra Theriot of Erath; her son Gerald Theriot of San Antonio Texas; three brothers Ronald , Minos, and Frank Girard all of New Iberia. She is also survived by her eight grandchildren; andten great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Clarence Theriot; granddaughter Heather Hardin; her parents Leuis and Ella Girard; two brothers; and five sisters. Pallbearers will be Gerald Theriot, Stephen Decuir, Blaine Decuir, Johnny Broussard,Wade Derouen, and David Hardin. Honorary pallbearers will be her brothers Ronald, Minos, and Frank Girard.
