Youngsville " A Memorial Service for Mrs. Mable Touchet Vernon will be held at 11:00AM on Friday, October 15, 2010 at St. Anne Catholic Church with Father Jason Mouton officiating. Inurnment will follow at St. Anne Cemetery. Mable passed away on Monday, October 11, 2010 with her loving family by her side. She was 85 years old. She loved visiting with her family, reading and country music. Mable is survived by her three grandchildren, Patricia Labit and husband Jeremy of Parks, Stacey Vernon of Broussard, and Thomas Vernon and wife Rachel of Jeanerette; two great-grandchildren, Jeremy Jones, Jr. of Parks and Kelsie Vernon of Jeanerette; her daughters-in-law, Cecile Johnson and Patsy Theriot Griffin; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie J. Vernon; her parents, Oneziphore and Ida Rabbo Touchet; two sons, Bradley P. Vernon and Whitney J. Vernon; as well as her brothers and sisters.
