Delores "Memaw" Staggs Hollier

Lafayette " Funeral Services for Mrs. Delores Memaw Staggs Hollier, 66, will be held at 3:00PM on Sunday, March 20, 2011 at David Funeral Home Chapel of Lafayette with Rev. Richard Meche officiating. Visitation will be at David Funeral Home of Lafayette on Saturday, March 19, 2011 from 2:00PM until 10:00PM. Visitation will resume on Sunday, March 20, 2011 from 8:00AM until the time of the services. Interment will follow at St. Anne Cemetery. A native of Birmingham, AL and a resident of Lafayette Mrs. Hollier died at 1:50AM on Thursday, March 17, 2011 at her residence. She was a loving mother and grandmother, always involved with her family. She was also a member of Christian Life Center Church know for her involvement in whatever activities taking place. She is survived by her mother, Ethel Staggs Bolt of Crestview, FL; three sons, Daryl Douglas Perkins, Jr. of Youngsville, Jason Wade Perkins of Broussard, and Vincent Allen Miller of Houston, TX; six grandchildren, Ashley Ann Perkins, Amber Lynn Perkins, Douglas Perkins, Daniel Wade Perkins, Mary Elizabeth Perkins, and Adam Darrel Arabie; three great grandchildren, Noah Perkins, Kylan Perkins, and Landon David Perkins; and two brother-in-laws, Arthur Avon Perkins and Dalton Ray Perkins. Serving as pallbearers will be members of Mrs. Holliers family and friends. David Funeral Home of Lafayette at 316 Youngsville Hwy. (337)837-9887 will be handling the arrangements.
