New Iberia " Funeral Services will be conducted for Johnny Joseph Breaux, Age 64, at 1:30PM Friday June 3, 2011 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church with Father Mark Derise officiating. Interment will follow at Holy Family Mausoleum. Visitation will be Thursday June 2, 2011 from 3:00PM until 9:00PM with a Rosary being prayed at 7:00PM. Visitation will resume Friday from 8:00AM until service time. Military graveside services will be conducted by the VFW Post 1982 honor guard. A native and lifelong resident of New Iberia, Johnny died Tuesday May 31, 2011 at 10:48AM at his residence in New Iberia. Johnny was owner of Breauxs Quality Car Care and he was member of the Independent Garage Owners of the Teche, the Knights of Columbus, the Cajun French Music Association of New Iberia, the Bayou State Corvette Club, the Mustang and Ford Club of Acadiana and the American Legion. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in the Vietnam War. Survivors include his wife, Brenda Darby Breaux of New Iberia; one son, Shane P. Breaux and wife Tara of Youngsville; one daughter, Sheree G. Breaux of New Iberia; grandchildren, Darby L. Breaux, Lillian M. Breaux and Elijah P. Breaux all of Youngsville; step mother, Miriam T. Breaux of Jeanerette; nephews, Jeremy, Joshua and Jared Breaux of New Iberia and Paul Darby and wife Liz of Baton Rouge; one niece, Joan D. Wallace and husband Brandon of Lafayette, a mother-in-law, Eula Darby of New Iberia and a brother-in-law Larry Darby and wife Lynn of Lafayette. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wiley J. Breaux and Nilda Mouton Breaux; one brother, Danny L. Breaux, his father-in-law Harold Darby and a granddaughter Rebekah Grace Breaux. Pallbearers will be Shane Breaux, Jeremy Breaux, Bob Travasos, Scotty Pharr, Larry Darby, Ken Quebedeaux and Lionel Schramm Honorary pallbearers will be Russell Romero and P.J.
