Ellen "Fay" Cunningham Borel

Jeanerette- Funeral services will be conducted for Mrs. Larry Borel, the former, Ellen Fay Cunningham, age 64, Saturday, February 26, 2011 at 1:00pm at David Funeral Home Chapel in Jeanerette with Rev. A. L. Lyle officiating. Visitation will begin Saturday, February 26, 2011 from 10:00am until service time. Interment will follow in Calvary Pentecostal Cemetery.

A native and resident of Jeanerette, Mrs. Borel died Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at 7:00pm in a local hospital. Fay enjoyed gardening, playing the piano and singing, her most cherished times were those spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Mrs. Borel is survived by her husband of 40 years, Larry Borel of Jeanerette; her daughters, Daina LeBlanc Short and husband Keith of Ponchatoula; Larrie Borel Arceneaux and husband Hopson of Gonzales; and Debra Borel Lowe and husband Jeffery of Jeanerette; her son, Chad David LeBlanc and wife Laura of New Iberia; sisters, Miriam C. Breaux of New Iberia; and Iona Rogers of Lockport; brothers, Roy Cunningham and wife Jennette of New Iberia; 11 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

Mrs. Borel was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest J. Cunningham and Bessie Authement Cunningham, sisters, Beulah C. Moore and Joyce C. Colletti, and brother, Ray Anthony Cunningham.

Serving as pallbearers will be family and friends.
