Edley Touchet Bodin

Erath " A Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. George Bodin the former Edley Touchet, 86, will be held at 11:00AM on Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with Fr. Wayne Duet officiating. Visitation will be at David Funeral home of Erath on Tuesday, May 31, 2011 from 5:00PM until 9:00PM with a recitation of the rosary at 7:00PM. Visitation will resume on Wednesday, June 1, 2011 from 8:00AM until the time of services. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery. A native of Meaux and a resident of Erath Mrs. Bodin died at 3:15AM on Monday, May 30, 2011 at a Lafayette Hospital. She is a member of the Ladies Alter Society and Catholic Daughters. She was know for her enjoyment to dance. She is survived by a son, Ron Bodin of Erath; a daughter, Debbie Fletcher of Erath; five sisters, Laura Loignon of Abbevile, Jeanne Oliva of Erath, Lou Ella Cormier of Abbeville, and Ella Mae Delahoussaye of New Iberia; four grandchildren, Timmy Fletcher, Tammy Fletcher, Jeri Broussard, and Ray Fletcher; and ten great grandchildren.. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Bodin; parents, Cledeus and Alice Simon Touchet; four brothers, Harry Touchet, Harris Touchet, Roy Touchet, and C.J. Touchet; and a sister, Nona Romero. Serving as pallbearers will be Harold Broussard, Jay Comeaux, Timmy Fletcher, Ray Fletcher, Ron Bodin, and Jeri Broussard. David Funeral Home of Erath at 209 E.
