Jerry Lee Myers, Sr.

A native of Lake Charles and a resident of New Iberia, Mr. Myers died Tuesday November 2, 2010 at 7:20 AM at Cypremort Point, LA. He retired from the oil field after 40 years of service. Mr. Jerry loved fishing, spending time with his family,and he loved to cook.

Mr.Myers is survived by his wife: Jean Derouen Myers of New Iberia: children Jeff Myers and his wife Michelle of Houma, LA, Jerry L. Myers, Jr. and Jennifer Pharr of New Iberia, brothers: Gene Myers and his wife Phyllis of Rayne, Mike Myers of New Iberia, Sisters: Faye Hunt and husband Ron, Barbara Touchet and her husband Carol, and Linda Gail Myers all of New Iberia, grandson: Hunter Myers of New Iberia,and long time friend of the family, Ray Tauzin of New Iberia.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Andrew Myers, Sr. and Marie Connor Myers, brothers: Andrew Myers, Jr., Bobby Myers, and Pat Myers; and one sister: Bonnie Darby.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
