Abbeville- A Mass of Christian Burial for Mr. Hoc Van Tran, 68, will be held at 9:30AM on Monday February 14, 2011 at St. Mary Magdelan Catholic Church in Abbeville with Rev. Thomas Nguyen officiating. Interment will follow services in St. Paul Catholic Cemetery. Mr. Tran is survived by his wife, Mrs. Chu Julie Nguyen Tran; daughter, Quyen Tran and her husband, Chuong Nguyen of Durham, North Carolina; son, Phuong Tran and his wife Loan Nguyen of Slidell, LA; granddaughters, Quynh - My Tran Nguyen and Thao " My Tran Nguyen both of Durham, North Carolina; grandsons Alex Phi Tran, Preston Hoang Tran and Jacob Huy Tran all of Slidell, LA. He was preceded in death by his parents, Giac Van Tran and Quet Thi Nguyen Tran. Pallbearers will be Tung Nguyen, Charles Nguyen, Johnny Tran, Andrew Tran, Cuong Tran, Toan Tran, Hau Tran, Tom Vu, Tuan Vu and Quam Pham.
