Erath " A Mass of Christian Burial for Curtis J. Baudoin, 87, will be held at 1:00PM on Thursday, October 28, 2010 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with Fr. Paul Broussard officiating. Visitation will be at David Funeral Home of Erath on Thursday, October 28, 2010 from 9:00Am till the time of the service with a recitation of the rosary at 10:00AM. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Lourdes Mausoleum. A Native of Vermilion Parish and a resident of Erath Mr. Baudoin died at 6:10AM on Tuesday, October 26, 2010 at Maison du Monde Nursing Center. He was a Drilling Rig Consultant for over 50 years before he retired. He also served his country in the US Army during WWII. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Amy Rodrigue Baudoin of Erath; two daughters, Debra Baudoin and Patsy B. Vidallia and her husband Larry both of Erath; a son, Danny Bud Baudoin and his wife Pat of Erath; two grandchildren, Brandie V. Laviolette, and Seth Vidallia and his wife Michelle both of Erath a great grandchild Gage Noah Lavioette of Erath; a step-grandchild, Derek Hidalgo of Crowley; a brother Walter Baudoin and his wife Charlene of Kaufman. TX; and a sister, Eula B. Domingue and her husband Leewood of Erath. He was preceded in death by his parents, Reynold and Alice Chauvin Baudoin; a sister, Roberta Lopez; and two brothers, Robley Baudoin and Robert Bob Baudoin. Serving as pallbearers will be Seth Vidallia, Tommy Domingue, Elvis Langlinais, Derek Hidalgo, Harold T-Boy Renard, and Steve Baudoin. Serving as Honorary Pallbearers will be Orien Menard, John Lopez, Kasey Langlinais, Jacob Domingue, Nicholas Landry, and Timmy Landry. Roberta Lee Lopez and Christien Landry will be serving as readers. David Funeral Home of Erath at 209 E. Putnam St. (337)937-0405 will be handling the arrangements.
