Erath " A Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Milton Joseph Touchet, the former Elite Lit Vice, 86, will be held at 11:00AM on Wednesday, October 20, 2010 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with Father Kendal Faulk officiating. Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Erath on Tuesday, October 19, 2010 from 11:00AM until 10:00PM with a recitation of the Rosary at 7:00PM and will resume on Wednesday, October 20, 2010 from 8:00AM until service time. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery. A native of Vermilion Parish and resident of Erath, Lit passed away at 1:15AM on Monday, October 18, 2010 at a local healthcare facility. She was a member of a card club, the Catholic Daughters and the Womens Auxiliary of Derouen-Moss Post #279. She loved to sew, was very good at cooking and canning, loved family gatherings and enjoyed spending time with her beloved son, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her son, Norman Gene Touchet and wife Sandra of Erath; her grandsons, Jonathan Touchet and wife Crystal of Erath and Wilbert Joseph Touchet of Delcambre; her granddaughter, Channtina Parrett and husband Thomas of Milton; three great-grandsons, Tyler James Touchet, Michael John Touchet and Nathan Paul Touchet, all of Erath; a special niece, Jeanette Renard and husband Jimmie of Erath; a very special great-niece, Sonia Renard Juarez and husband Alfredo of Lafayette; and a host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Milton Tan Joseph Touchet; her parents, Ulgler and Remise Suire Vice; four brothers, Edie Vice, Presley Vice, Purvis Vice and Chester Vice; and seven sisters, Edia V. Desormeaux, Lucy V. Foreman, Marie V. Simon, Lily V. Primeaux, Elita V. Soirez, Virgie V. Reeves and Velma V. LaPointe. Serving as pallbearers will be Jonathan Touchet, Wilbert Touchet, Kenneth Foreman, Thomas Parrett, Tommie Renard and Terry Soirez.
