Hammond " Funeral Services for Mrs. Lillian Richard Rodriguez, 92, will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, October 16, 2010 at David Funeral Home of Lafayette with Fr. Barry Crochet officiating. Visitation will be on Friday, October 16, 2010 from 5:00PM until 9:00PM and will resume on Saturday from 8:00AM until the time of services. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Cemetery in Coteau. A native of Abbeville and resident of Hammond, Mrs. Lillian passed away on Sunday, October 10, 2010. She is survived by her daughters, Sylvia Compton of Independence, LA and Sandi Edwards of Baton Rouge; three sisters, Belle Breaux of Lafayette, Margery Romero of Coteau and Lena Gwen of Lafayette; five grandchildren, Daryl King, Bryan King, Laurie Lyke, Andre Cialona and Wendy Morice; 12 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ned Andrew Rodriguez; her parents, Saule and Amy Boudreaux Richard; and her two brothers, Elton Richard and Huey Richard. Serving as pallbearers will be Michael Breaux, Timmy Breaux, George Morice, Shane Cialona, Daryl King and Jeremy Boutte. Honorary pallbearers will be Dwight Guidry, Dwayne Guidry, Donald Breaux, Heath King and Marcus Quebedeaux.
