Rena Hollier Trahan

March 14, 1935 — June 15, 2011

Abbeville " Funeral Services for Mrs. John W. Trahan, the former Rena Eve Hollier, 76, will be held at 2:30PM on Friday, June 17, 2011 at David Funeral Home Chapel of Abbeville with Deacon Randy Hyde officiating. Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Abbeville on Friday, June 17, 2011 from 9:00AM until the time of service, with a recitation of the rosary at 11:00AM. Interment will follow at St. Paul Cemetery. A native and resident of Abbeville, Mrs. Trahan passed away at 12:45PM on Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at a local hospital. Rena was a loving sister and sister-in-law who loved spending time with her family and all of her many nieces and nephews. She will be missed by all. Mrs. Trahan retired form Rivana Foods after working there for over 20 years. She is survived by two brothers, Leonard A. Hollier and his wife Gloria of Abbeville, and Nelson Hollier of Erath; sister, Rita H. Leleux of Maurice; sister-in-law, Elda Hollier of Morgan City; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Trahan; parents Alphe and Annie Bell Romero Hollier; brothers, Wilton Hollier, Riley Hollier and Larry Hollier; brother-in-law Alvin Leleux; and sister-in-laws, Rida Hollier, Sabre Hollier, and Terese Hollier.
