Benedict "Benny" Castille

New Iberia- Funeral services will be conducted for Benedict Benny Castille, age 74, Monday, November 8, 2010 at 10:00 a.m.at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church with Fr. Ed Degeyter officiating. Interment will follow in St. Peters Cemetery. Visitation will begin Sunday, November 7, 2010 from 2:00PM until 9:00PM with a recitation of a rosary at 6:00PM. Visitation will resume Monday, November 8, 2010 from 8:00AM until the time of service.
A native and resident of New Iberia, Mr. Castille died Friday, November 05, 2010 at 6:20AM at his residence. Benny was owner/operator of the fuel injection department of Arthur A. Castille Inc.; in his younger years he enjoyed carpentry and bowling.
Mr. Castille is survived by his daughters, Grace Randazzo, and Veronica Guillotte and husband Jackie, his son, Arthur J. Castille, his brother, Harris Castille, his sisters, Mary C. VanBrocklin and Beverly C. Fremin, all of New Iberia; grandchildren, Travis Randazzo and wife Bridgit, Tabitha Randazzo, Talia Randazzo, Aaron Guillotte, and Adam Guillotte, his great-grandchildren, Karaline and Korinne Randazzo, and his best friends, J.C. Joe Hebert and Jerry Conrad, all of New Iberia.
Mr. Castille was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur A. Castille and Grace Mary Provost Castille.
Serving as pallbearers will be Aaron Guillotte, Travis Randazzo, Karl Peanut Castille, Dale VanBrocklin, Joachim Fremin and J.C. Joe Hebert.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry Conrad, John Gilton Broussard and John Paul Freemin.
The family would like to express a heartfelt thanks to J.C. Joe Hebert and Jerry Conrad for genuine friendship, loving care given, and the many memories made for Benny with the trips to Houston, TX.
