Magna Hungerford

Visitation will begin on Monday, November 8, 2010 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 7:00 PM. Visitation will resume Tuesday, November 9, 2010 from 9:00 AM until service time.

A native and lifelong resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Hungerford died Friday, November 5, 2010 at 8:30 AM in a New Iberia hospital. Mrs. Hungerford was an artist, a seamstress and a loving mother. She enjoyed traveling with her niece and playing bingo at Azalea Estates with her friends.

Survivors include her daughter, Jo-Ann Hungerford of Houston, Texas; her grandson, Joseph Hungerford Lasserre and wife Kim D. Lasserre of Austin, Texas; her great grandchildren, Mason Hopkins and Cameron Hungerford Lasserre both of Austin, Texas and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph A. Hungerford; her parents, Adam and Constance Vincent Estilette; her daughter, Deanna Hungerford; her grandson, Ross M. Lasserre and five brothers, Lazare, Grady, Frady, Amilcare and Duto Estilette.

Pallbearers will be Robert Reed, John Riggs, Jerome Weber, Lynwood Estilette, Gary Estilette and Terrel Dressel.
