Erath " Funeral Services for Mr. Alvin A. Richard, 83, will be held at 2:00PM on Thursday, April 14, 2011 at David Funeral Chapel of Erath with Fr. Manny officiating. Visitation will be at David Funeral Home of Erath on Thursday, April 14, 2011 from 10:00AM until the time of the services with a recitation at 11:00AM. Interment will follow at Bancker Cemetery. A Native and resident of Erath Mr. Richard died at 1:50AM on Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at Abbeville General Hospital. He is survived by two nieces, Vivian Thibodeaux and Janet Primeaux both of Erath. He was preceded in death by his parents, Otto and Inez Hulin Richard; and a brother, Velton Richard and his wife Elvie Toups Richard. Serving as pallbearers will be member of his friends and family.
