Jeanerette " Funeral Services will be conducted for Charles Louis Daigle, Age 90, at 2:00PM Tuesday April 19, 2011 at David Funeral Home Chapel with Father Jody Simoneaux officiating. Interment will follow at Beau Pre Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday at David Funeral Home in Jeanerette from 9:00AM until service time. Military graveside services will be conducted by the United States Army Honors Detail. A native of Napoleonville and longtime resident of Jeanerette, Mr. Daigle died Saturday April 16, 2011 at 11:03PM in a New Iberia health care facility. He was a retired supervisor for the Cabot Carbon Black plant. Mr. Daigle enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, carpentry and spoiling his beloved wife. He was a veteran of WWII having served in the U.S. Army. Survivors include his wife Ethel Marie Landry Daigle of Jeanerette; daughters, Charlotte Anne Daigle Breaux of New Iberia, Diane Marie Daigle Kelly, Gretchen Marie Daigle Fortier and Joanna Therese Daigle Buteau all of Jeanerette; sisters, Geraldine Daigle Moresi of Jeanerette and Doris Daigle Kapp of Weeks Island; grandchildren, Jeffrey Alan Breaux of Nashville, Tennessee, Holly Elizabeth Breaux, Angela Buteau Scott, Rebecca Buteau Ruskoski and Elizabeth Buteau Ronsonet all of New Iberia, Charles Kelly and Nicole Bergeron Munnerlyn both of Lafayette, Colleen Kelly, Katherine Kelly LeBlanc, Van Anthony Butch Bergeron II and Karl Fortier III all of Jeanerette; great grandchildren, Owen Alan Breaux Burke, Luke Marlin Scott, Jace Michael Ruskoski, Kiptyn Michael Ronsonet and Ava Grace Hebert all of New Iberia, Finley Mayer Breaux and Sullivan Anthony Breaux both of Nashville, Tennessee, Madeline Nicole Kelly, Trevin Michael Kelly, Gabrielle Nicole Kelly and Madison E. Cotone all of Lafayette and Julie Marie LeBlanc, Morgan Ray LeBlanc and Sarah Elizabeth DeMarco all of Jeanerette. He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Beatrice Martin Daigle; one sister, Louise Daigle Frisco and two brothers, Ira and Leroy Daigle. Pallbearers will be Charles David Kelly, Jeffrey Alan Breaux, Peter Buteau, Al Breaux, Jr., Karl Tony Fortier Jr. and Errol LeBlanc.
