Lydia " Funeral services will be conducted for Mrs. Maurice LeBlanc, the former Florence Miss Flo Bourgeois, 82, on Saturday April 30, 2011 at 10:00 AM in the David Funeral Home Chapel with Father Gregory Chauvin officiating. Interment will follow in the Broussard Cemetery at Bayou Petit Anse. A rosary will be prayed Friday April 29, 2011 at 6:00 PM in the funeral home. The family requests visiting hours Friday April 29, 2011 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM and will resume Saturday April 30, 2011 from 8:00 AM until time of services. Mrs. LeBlanc passed awayThursday April 28, 2011 at 8:45 AM at her residence in Lydia. Mrs. LeBlanc was a retired school bus driver for the Iberia Parish School System for 17 years. She enjoyed bowling, fishing and caring for her animals. She was a resident of Lydia. She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Maurice LeBlanc of Lydia: One son, Bobby LeBlanc of New Iberia; One Brother, Alton Bourgeois of Franklin; Her grandchildren, Ursulah Trapp, Mecekah Trapp, and Bobby James LeBlanc, II all of Kansas; Special friends, Pam Reaux and Bobbie Romero both of Lydia; Special caregiver for over 40 years, Miss Delhia and 10 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Freddie Bourgeois and Felecie LeBlanc Bourgeois and a brother, Herman Bourgeois. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
