Jeanerette " A memorial prayer service for Ruby Legnon Migues, Age 73, will be conducted Saturday May 7, 2011 at 1:00PM at David Funeral Home in Jeanerette with Brother Joey LaBiche officiating. A gathering of family and friends will be held prior to the service from 11:00AM until service time. She died Friday April 15, 2011 at 12:05PM in a Lafayette health care facility. A native and longtime resident of Jeanerette and current resident of New Iberia, she enjoyed bike riding, square dancing and gardening. Survivors include her daughters, Charlene L. Copell and husband Larry of Jeanerette and Rachel L. Grafton and husband John of Baton Rouge; a granddaughter, Sheri Bacon of Colorado; two nephews, Dana and Brian Legnon and a niece, Trudy Legnon. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Debra Lee Tieman; her parents, Hilton and Lena Poirrier Legnon, Sr; a sister, Shirley Legnon and a brother Hilton Buddy Legnon, Jr. and a niece, Tammy Legnon. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to either the American Cancer Society or St. Judes Childrens Hospital. David Funeral Home, 400 Provost St. Jeanerette, La.
