Abbeville " Funeral Services for Mr. Hartwell Allison Languirand, 55, will be held at 1:00PM on Saturday, April 30, 2011 at David Funeral Home Chapel of Abbeville with Pastor Mickey Byrd officiating. Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Abbeville on Friday, April 29, 2011 from 5:00PM until 9:00PM and will resume on Saturday from 10:00AM until service time. Interment will follow at Graceland Cemetery. A native of Bay Saint Louis, Mississippi and a resident of Abbeville, Mr. Languirand passed away on Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at a local hospital. Hartwell is survived by his father, Marcel Languirand; one sister, Janie Languirand-Coles; one brother, Mark Languirand; his long-time friend and adopted family, Patti Gaspard of Abbeville, Quinton and Chelsea, Jonathan, Brett and Joshua. He was preceded in death by his mother, Janie Eldredge Languirand; and two brothers, John Beaver Languirand and George Buddy Languirand. Serving as pallbearers will be Quinton Gaspard, Jonathan Gaspard, Brett Gaspard, Joshua Gaspard, Tony Goolsby and Mark Baudoin. Honorary pallbearers will be Merlin Dupleincian and Carroll Baudoin.
