Erath " A Mass of Christian Burial for Mr. Corbet Joseph Domingues, 89, will be held at 10:30AM on Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with Msgr. Charles Dubois officiating. Visitation will be at David Funeral Home of Erath on Tuesday, April 19, 2011 beginning at 2:00PM until 9:00PM with a recitation of the rosary at 7:00PM. Visitation will resume on Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at 8:00AM until the time of service. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Lourdes Mausoleum. A native of Henry and a resident of Erath, Mr. Domingues passed away at 9:20AM on Monday, April 18, 2011 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. Corbet was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who lived for his family and treasured each and every moment he spent with them. Mr. Domingues was a plant superintendent with Texaco until his retirement. Mr. Domingues served honorably in the United States Coast Guard. He is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Velma LeBlanc Domingues of Erath; sons, Corbet Jimmy Domingues and his wife Annie P., Edward J. Ed Domingues and his wife Rickey S., Robert T-Bob Domingues and his wife Cheryl F., and Dewey Louis Domingues and his wife Alison Z. all of Erath; and sisters Louise D. Brown, Lorraine D. Simon, and Frances Lachaussee all of Erath. He was preceded in death by his parents, Reista and Elida Dubois Domingues. Serving as pallbearers will be his eldest grandsons, Errol Joseph Domingues, Corbet James Domingues, Jr., David Robert Domingues, Tyler Louis Domingues, Philip Dwayne Domingues and Timothy James T.J. LeBlanc, III. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Sam Domingues, Matt Domingues, Austin Domingues, Blake Domingues, Catherine Domingues, Caitlin Domingues, Charles Ed Turner, Jeanne Turner, Blaine Turner , Madeline LeBlanc, Jake LeBlanc, Peter LeBlanc, Daniel Domingues, Seth Domingues, Owen Domingues, Leila Deslatte, and Chase Paul Norris. Serving as readers will be his grandchildren; Jennifer Domingues Norris and Mary LeBlanc. Serving as gift bearer will be his grandchild Leslie Deslatte. The family would like to extend a very special thanks to Valarie Broussard for the love and compassion she gave Mr. Domingue. David Funeral Home of Erath, 209 E.
