Laura Lemaire Moresi

A memorial service will be conducted for Mrs. Charles A. Moresi, Sr. the former Laura LeMaire, Age 79, at 11:00AM Saturday February 5, 2011 at David Funeral Home Chapel in New Iberia with Father Ed Degeyter officiating. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 9:00AM until service time at the funeral home. A private inurnment will follow at a later date at Beau Pre Memorial Park Cemetery in Jeanerette. A native of Port Arthur, Texas and longtime resident of Jeanerette, Mrs. Moresi died Thursday January 27, 2011 at 11:55PM her residence in Jeanerette. Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Charles A. Moresi, Sr. of Jeanerette; two daughters, Karen Moresi of Jeanerette and Rachel Moresi Rohrman of Friendswood, Texas; two sons, Charles Chuck Moresi, Jr and James Jimmy Moresi both of Jeanerette; one brother, Fabian Bib LeMaire, Jr. of Jeanerette; two sisters, Janet LeMaire Robicheaux and Loretta LeMaire LeJeune both of Jeanerette; 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Sandra Moresi Ousley; parents, Fabian LeMaire, Sr. and Stella LeBlanc LeMaire and two brothers, James LeMaire, Sr. and Ronald LeMaire, Sr. David Funeral Home, 1101 Trotter St. New Iberia, La.
