Jeanerette " Funeral services will be conducted for Mrs. Charles A. Mouret, Jr., the former Loretta Pirnie, 67, on Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at 2:00 PM at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church with Father Jody Simoneaux officiating. Interment will follow in Loisel Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday, March 28, 2011 from 5:00 PM until 10:00 PM and a rosary will be prayed by Deacon Theo Landry in the funeral home at 6:30 PM. Visitation will resume on Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at 8:00 AM until services and a Refelection and Prayer Services will be conducted by Father Ed Degeyter at 9:00 AM in the funeral home. A native of Houma and resident of Jeanerette, Mrs. Mouret died on Friday, March 25, 2011 at 4:35 PM in a Lafayette hospital. Prior to retirement she worked as a Teller at First National Bank of Jeanerette; a Receptionist at Dr. James Falterman, Sr.s office and a Secretary at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. She loved crafts, cooking, baseball and spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Charles A. Mouret, Jr. of Jeanerette; her sons, Gregory P. Mouret and his wife Crystal and Charles A. Trey Mouret, III and his wife Heidi all of Jeanerette; her brother, Glenn Pirnie and his wife Harriet of Jeanerette; her sister, Lorraine Kingston and her husband Howard of New Iberia; her grandchildren, Tyler Mouret of Jacksonville, IL, Amy Mouret, Kailee Mouret and Ryleigh Mouret all of Jeanerette and her loving pet, Mugs . She was preceded in death by her parents, Erwin Pirnie, Sr. and Leona Lapeyrouse Pirnie; her son, Eric Mouret and her brother, Erwin Pirnie, Jr. Pallbearers will be Brian, Chuck and John Napier, Kyle and Louis Pirnie and Brady Johnson. Honorary pallbearers will be Tyler Mouret, Josh and Pat Napier, Steve Johnson, Doug Delcambre, Mike Prejean and Glenn Pirnie. The family would like to thank M. D. Anderson Hospital, Lafayette General Medical Center, Hospice of Acadiana, Trudy Napier, Harriet Pirnie and Audrey Harris for the care given to Loretta during her illness.
