Erath " A Mass of Christian Burial for Mr. Scotty J. Stoute, 51, will be held at 11:00AM on Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with Fr. Herb Bennerfeld officiating. Visitation will be at David Funeral Home of Erath on Tuesday, January 11, 2011 from 5:00PM until 9:00PM with a recitation of the rosary at 7:00PM. Visitation will resume on Wednesday, January 12, 2011 from 8:00AM until the time of the services. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery. A Native and resident of Erath Mr. Stoute died on Monday, January 10, 2011 at his residence. He was known for his enjoyment of being with his family and spending time with his nephews. He also enjoyed watching wrestling. He is survived by two brothers, Tommy Stoute, Sr. and his wife Wendy of Erath, and Dalton Joseph Joe Stoute, Jr. and his wife Janette of Erath; three sisters, Kathy Breaux and her husband Roy of Youngsville, Susan Ho of Erath, and Windy Stoute of Erath; twelve nieces and nephews, sixteen great nieces and nephews; and his former companion, Paulette Bufford and her children, Quentin Bufford, Coty Bufford, Jamie Bufford, Steven Bufford, and Christy Bufford. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dalton Joseph Stoute, Sr. and Dorothy Mae Landry Stoute; and a brother in law, Nang Ho. Serving as pallbearers will be Tommy Stoute, Sr., Tommy Stoute, Jr., Dalton Joe Stoute, Jr., Dalton DJ Stoute, III, Van Landry, and Weston Stoute, Jr.. David Funeral Home of Erath at 209 E.
