Tilly Dooley

New Iberia " Funeral services will be conducted for Tilly Paul T. P. Dooley, 84 on Saturday, November 23, 2013, at 2:00 PM at St. Peters Catholic Church with Father Charles Langlois officiating. Interment will follow in Holy Family Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Friday, November 22, 2013, from 3:00 PM until 10:00 PM and resume on Saturday, November 23, 2013, at 10:00 AM until services. A rosary will be prayed in the funeral home on Friday at 7:00 PM.

A native of Jeanerette, a former resident of New Iberia and a resident of Brownsville, TX, Mr. Dooley passed away on Sunday, November 17, 2013, at 6:52 PM in a Brownsville nursing facility. He retired from the Louisiana National Guard after 23 years of service and retired as a Master Sgt.

He is survived by his daughter, Sheila Dooley of Brownsville, TX; his grandchildren, Louise C. Holbrook and her husband Brandon of Plano, TX and Andrew Collberg of Tucson, AZ and his great grandson, Evan Holbrook of Plano, TX.

He was preceded in death by his wife; Hazel Theriot Dooley;parents, Louis and Sidonia Deslatte Dooley; his brothers, Lovelace Dooley, his twin; Percy, Norby and Donald Dooley and his sister, Bella Dooley.
