Lafayette-A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Henry Lee Vice, 74, at 10:00 AM on Monday April 11, 2011 at St. Anne Catholic Church in Youngsville. Rev. Jason Mouton, Pastor of St. Anne Catholic Church will be the Celebrant of the Mass and will officiate the services. Visitation will be at David Funeral Home of Lafayette on Sunday April 10, 2011 from 10:00AM until 10:00PM, with a recitation of the Rosary at 7:00 PM, and will resume on Monday April 11, 2011 at 8:00AM until time of services. Interment will follow the Mass at St. Anne Catholic Cemetery. Mr. Vice was a native and longtime resident of Youngsville. He retired with the Lafayette Parish School System where he served as a Bus Driver for many years. He will be dearly missed by his family and all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Mary Grossie Vice of Youngsville; daughter, Tina Marie Vice of Youngsville; sons, Kenneth Lee Vice and his wife Donna of Youngsville and Ray Allen Vice and his wife Kim of New Iberia; step-daughter Patsy Louviere and her husband Larry of Welsh; grandchildren Courtney Habitz and her husband B.J., Corey Vice and his wife Miranda, Cody Vice, Kayla Vice, Kaleb Vice, Kashia Vice all of Youngsville, Rachel Vice and Austin Vice of New Iberia, Vanessa Pratka of Youngsville and Rickey Langley of Lafayette; great-grandchildren, Tucker Habitz, Emmy Habitz, Blakley Habitz, Marleigh Vice, Ryan Vice, Piper Vice, Jace Baudoin, Kaiden Vice, Lindsey Langley and McKensey Langley. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Anna Demetre Vice; one brother Dalton Vice; one sister, Dorothy Duhon and one grandson, Colby Lee Vice. Serving as pallbearers will be Kenneth Vice, Ray Vice, Corey Vice, Cody Vice, Kaleb Vice and Austin Vice. Honorary pallbearers will be Anthony Grossie, Michael Grossie and Kevin Grossie.
