Abbeville - Funeral Services for Rita Bonnie Theriot Hebert, 63, will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday, February 18, 2011 at David Funeral Home Chapel in Abbeville with Deacon Cody Miller officiating. Scripture readings will be recited by Shelanne Richard and Becky Soirez. Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Abbeville on Friday, February 18, 2011 from 9:00AM until the time of services with a recitation of the rosary at 12:00PM. Interment will follow at Graceland Cemetery. A native and resident of Abbeville, Mrs. Hebert passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 16, 2011 at Abbeville General Hospital. In her lifetime, Mrs. Hebert had worked for Abbeville General Hospital, Dr. Ardly Hebert, City of Abbeville, Food, Etc., Vermilion Parish Police Jury Animal Control and Animal Aid. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Christopher and Michelle Hebert; two grandchildren, Terrence and Tori Hebert, all of Abbeville; three sisters, Helen Savoy and her husband Aubrey, Jr. of Abbeville, Betty Cormier of Erath and Martharine Segura and her husband Lodger of Franklin; one brother, Adam Conner and his wife Mary of Erath; one brother-in-law, Glaston Choate and his wife Mabel of Maurice; and sixteen nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Hebert; her mother, Rena Frederick Theriot; her father, Wilson Tan Theriot; one sister, Louella Theriot Trahan; three brothers-in-law, Charles Hebert, Murphy Gaspard and Shelby Cormier; and one sister-in-law, Rose Choate. Pallbearers will be Rodney Choate, Ryan Choate, Kevin Savoy, Chad Savoy, Kerry Richard, Eric Toups, Jude Soirez and Kip Rankin. The family would like to express their gratitude to the Abbeville General Hospital staff as well as Hospice of Acadiana for their compassionate care during Bonnies last days.
