New Iberia- Funeral Services will be conducted for Mrs. Clarence DuBois, Sr. the former Mable Boudreaux, age 85, at 1:00 PM on Monday February 28, 2011 at David Funeral Home Chapel with Father Charles Langlois officiating. Interment will follow at Holy Family Mausoleum. Visitaton will be Sunday, February 27, 2011 from 5:00PM until 10:00PM with a rosary being prayed at 7:00PM. Visitation will resume on Monday from 8:00AM until service time. Mable Boudreaux DuBois was born on October 29, 1925, in Jeanerette, Louisiana. She went home to be with the Lord on February 25, 2011. She enjoyed life and lived everyday to its fullest. Anyone who knew Mable, knew that she had a strong-willed determination and a spunky personality. Her sense of humor and large laughter often filled a room with her presence. She was a tiny lady with a huge heart. One of her greatest pleasures was spending time at the local casinos with her close friends. In addition, she was very active socially having held titles of Golden Age Queen and Magnolia Queen. Mable was also a member of the VFW and American Legion. Her daily companion was Paco a toy poodle whom she loved dearly. Mable was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence DuBois, Sr.; her parents, Olouis (Dago) and Alita Legion Boudreaux; three brothers, Andrew Vaughn, Raymond Boudreaux, and Johnny Boudreaux, Sr.; and two sons-in-law, Verland Hebert and Russell Romero. Mable is survived by her four children, Patricia D. Fryer and her husband, Charles, of Morgan City; Laura Tiny D. Romero of New Iberia; Clarence DuBois, Jr. and his wife, Peggy, of New Iberia; and Brenda D. Thibodeaux and her husband, Wayne, of New Iberia. She is also survived by two brothers, Davis Pete Boudreaux of Jeanerette, and Stanley Boudreaux and his wife, Emma, of Lydia; as well as her two sisters, Anna Mae B. Gachassin and her husband, Donald, of Loreauville; and Miss Mary Ann Boudreaux of Iota. In addition, Mable is survived by eleven grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, and six great-great grandchildren. Pallbearers for Mrs. Dubois are: godson, Roy LeBlanc; grandsons, Kevin Romero and Dana Hebert; and great-grandsons, Jared Romero, Braedon Broussard and Brodie Russo. Honorary Pallbearers are: grandchildren, Steven P.
