Lafayette- Memorial services for Edgar Louis Glory, Jr., 68, will be held at Covenant United Methodist Church in Lafayette LA, on Sunday, February 27, 2011, at 3:00 PM, with Rev. Chris Blanchard officiating. A native of New Orleans and a resident of Lafayette, Mr. Glory passed away on Friday February 25, 2011 at his residence in Lafayette. Edgar was a kind man who enjoyed fishing, spending time with his family and friends and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. Survivors include his wife, Jeannette Argus Glory of Lafayette, LA; his children, Herbert F. Glory and his wife Berta of Corpus Christi, TX, Lisa Hogan and her husband Steve of Lafayette, LA, Stacey Womack and her husband Timothy of Youngsville, LA and Michael Devlin and his wife Teri of Youngsville; nine grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edgar Louis Glory, Sr. and Elenor Celia Schaffer Glory. David Funeral Home of Lafayette at 316 Youngsville Hwy.
