Erath " Funeral Services for Mrs. Lindsey Hulin, Sr., the former Mary Lane Carlin, 70, will be held at 1:00PM on Monday, February 28, 2011 at David Funeral Home of Erath with Fr. Manny Fernandez officiating. Visitation will begin on Sunday, February 27, 2011 from 10:00AM until 9:00PM with a recitation of the Rosary at 7:00PM and will resume on Monday, February 28, 2011 from 8:00AM until the time of services. Interment will follow Our Lady of Lourdes Mausoleum. A native of Abbeville and resident of Erath, Mrs. Hulin passed away at 12:10PM on Friday, February 25, 2011 at a Lafayette hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was a proud member of Bayou Carlin Sams Club. She is survived by her husband, Lindsey Hulin, Sr. of Erath; her sons, Kenneth Ray Breaux and wife Julie of Scott and Lindsey Hulin, Jr. and wife Janice of Erath; her daughters, Janice C. Blanchard of Scott, Wendy Breaux of Erath, Julie Breaux LeBlanc and husband Chad of Erath, and Roxanne Backus and husband Jeff of Ogden, Utah; sixteen grandchildren, Matthew Breaux, Madelynne Breaux, Marc Breaux, Brock Menard, Phillip Blanchard, Gavin Hulin, Logan LeBlanc, Luke LeBlanc, Seth Derouen, Mia Lane Primeaux, Ty Primeaux, Emily Backus, Lauren Backus, Hannah Backus, Jeffrey Backus and Colleen Backus; one great-grandchild, Abigail Christine Blanchard; and one sister, Juanita Trahan and husband Michael of Abbeville. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ridley and Cecile Simon Carlin; and her son-in-law, Chris Blanchard. Serving as pallbearers will be Matthew Breaux, Marc Breaux, Phillip Blanchard, Seth Derouen, Logan LeBlanc and Ryan Trahan. Honorary pallbearers will be Gavin Hulin, Luke LeBlanc and Jeffrey Backus.
