Lafayette - Funeral services will be held for Adelie R. Brasseaux, 84, on Friday February 25, 2011 at 2:00PM at David Funeral Home of Lafayette, 316 Youngsville Hwy. with Bishop Drew Rousse, Founder and Chancellor of Faith Cathedral of New Iberia and Dr. Wanda Rousse, Senior Pastor of Faith Cathedral of New Iberia officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, February 24, 2011 from 5:00PM until 10:00PM and will resume Friday February 25, 2011 at 8:00AM until service time. Interment will follow services at St. Anne Catholic Cemetery in Youngsville. A native of Youngsville and a resident of Lafayette Mrs. Brasseaux passed away Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at her daughters residence in Breaux Bridge. She was a loving Mother, Grandmother, and Great-grandmother who will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her children, Jeanette B. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Brasseaux, Sr.; parents, Arville Charles Richard and Adelina Meche Richard; son-in-law, Leonard Boudreaux, Jr. ; daughter-in-law, Rose Brasseaux and grandson, Ian Allen James Brasseaux. Pallbearers will be: Jason Perret, Phillip Anthony Bo Miller, Jackie Spencer, Jeremy Boudreaux, Christian Brasseaux, and Samuel Brasseaux.
