James Haron "Mombo" Broussard

Milton " Funeral Services for Mr. James Mombo Haron Broussard, 67, will be held at 11:00AM on Friday, February 25, 2011 at David Funeral Home Chapel in Lafayette with Deacon Cody Miller officiating. Visitation was held at David Funeral Home of Lafayette on Thursday, February 24, 2011 from 4:00PM until 9:00PM with a rosary at 7:00PM and will resume on Friday, February 25, 2011 from 8:00AM until service time. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery in Milton. A native and resident of Milton, Mr. James passed away at 11:30PM on Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at his residence. He is survived by his loving wife, Cheryl Adams Broussard of Milton; his children, John Gregg Broussard, Monica Lynn Broussard and Carl Joseph Broussard and wife Karla, all of Milton; grandchildren, Brooke, Julia, Haley, Hunter, Shane and Tanner Broussard, Molly Menard and James Gould; great-grandchild, Whesley Menard; his brother, Oliver Curley Broussard and wife Helen of Erath; his sisters, Gurlie Steiner and Rena Pearl Dugas and husband Moise, all of Milton; godchild, Keith Blanchard; and niece, Sandra Broussard Delatte. He was preceded in death by his parents, Otis and Marie Romero Broussard; his son, Shane Anthony Broussard; and two nephews, Frank Steiner and Donald Ray Broussard.
